Christmas and New Year, definitely the best time for giving and receiving gifts…

I bet you’re either thinking of gifts now or find yourself confused on what to choose for your near and dear ones. Well, that happens, with almost everyone. I won’t give you any tips. I won’t make suggestions. It’s too late for that. I am just going to share with you things about my cousin, who works with Enza Marketing.

Well, my cousin, she behaves crazy at times. I have seen her going mad thinking of gifts at Christmas time every year. A couple of months before Christmas, she starts thinking about it. She prepares a list of people for whom she has to buy gifts. Since she goes about meeting people and making new friends, every year her list would have many additions. The next thing she’d do is begin thinking of gifts for each person. She’d put in the list, against each name, the gift that she’d like to buy for that person. This itself is a long process and may take over a couple of weeks.

So, when the list is finally ready, she starts buying and storing gifts. She goes far and wide in search of gifts. When a thing is mentioned against a name, she wouldn’t be contented with buying anything else for that person. She may spend days hunting for a special gift for a special friend. When finally she gets to buy that gift, she’d smile the kind of smile that you can’t even imagine. It’s as innocent a smile as that of a baby. A week before Christmas she’d have finished buying the gifts.

At Christmas time, my cousin happens to be the happiest person in the family, taking gifts one by one out of her collection and handing it out to the person intended. Trust me, the happiness that she has while handing out the gifts simply effervesces all around and passes on to the person who receives the gifts too.
